The story of Lammintupa began in 1998 with a modest tarpaulin-covered ”five-euro ski track cafe”. During these 20 years, our company has developed and our operations have been expanded year after year. Even so, today we follow the same quality policy we created in the beginning, offering quality service to the travellers in the Ruka-Kuusamo area. All products served in our café are freshly made in our own kitchen, using local ingredients as much as possible. Our operation lies on the principles of reliability, customer service and comfort. Safety, both for customers and animals, is an important part of our work. All our operations are done with respect to our surroundings and the nature.
As an entrepreneur couple we were pleased to see our son Joni join us in our company.
Mirjami takes care of the administration of the company and is responsible for the indoor action and its improvement. She is usually found at the café doing customer service or working in the kitchen.
Jyri is responsible for outdoor action, so you will meet him at the reindeer or husky farm, and in spring this pancake master cooks the world's best giant pancakes at our terrace.
Joni, with his youthful enthusiasm, brings new visions and energy into our company, and as motor sport is his passion, Joni is responsible for the operation of our new Ice Karting track.
