The story of Lammintupa began in 1998 with a simple tarp-covered “five-euro ski track cafe.” Over two decades our family business has evolved, and the scale of our operations has been growing every year. However, our basis has always stayed the same: we still follow the quality policy we created in the beginning and offer quality service to tourists in the Ruka–Kuusamo area.
The products sold in our café are home-made in our own kitchen using locally produced ingredients as much as possible. In our operations, we focus on reliability, customer service and cosy atmosphere. Safety of customers and animals alike is an important part of our work. In all our operations, respect for the environment and nature is a top priority.
The managing director of our company, Joni, is full of new ideas with the enthusiasm and vision of youth, and continuously improves our operation. As our designated Jack-of-all-trades, Joni can be found almost everywhere at Lammintupa.
Mirjami is responsible for the inside operations and development, and you will most often find her at the café serving customers or working in the kitchen.
Jyri takes care of the outside operations, and he spends his days working with the reindeer or the huskies. In spring he doubles as our pancake master, making the world’s best campfire pancakes for our customers.
